Answer:

"Hi

It won't cause any specific reaction but the soap can be irritating for sensitive skin and glycolic treatments can make skin extra sensitive. The main concern would be inflammation that could result in PIH, which can actually darken skin.

I would recommend that you complete the glycolic treatment and allow your skin to be fully healed before beginning the soap.

Subject: Age Spots/Liver Spots

"It's been almost 4 years now that I've been experiencing dark round spots/brown spots/age spot on my face And this is itchy sometimes. I have consulted a dermatologist and prescribed creams which are very expensive but ineffective so nothing changes. I've used a lot of Clinique products just to lighten the dark spots( friends suggested) but when i stop using it just for two days or 3 that brown spot appears again.

I'm just tired and frustrated sometimes but always hoping that this dark spot will disappear.

Would you suggest what cream that is effective will I have to use from your product for me to use?

"Hi Rudy,

It is normal to have dark spots that appear on our skin as a result of cells producing an abundance of pigment(melanin). It is common as we age and also it is exacerbated by environmental causes like sun exposure, wind damage & stress.

Usually age spots respond very well to whitening treatments if you use the right active ingredients. The most effective are Kojic Acid, Glutathione, & Arbutin. You should see benefits within a few weeks depending on which product you choose, I also recommend that you use sun protection daily, as the damage caused by UV is cumulative and very hard to reverse.

In addition, oral Glutathione with Lipoic Acid has many benefits for skin health & pigmentation.
